Buenos Aires
DAY 1: Departure from Seattle / International travel to Buenos Aires
DAY 2-4: Buenos Aires:
Arrive in Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina. Guided city sightseeing tour: Av. 9 de Julio, Teatro Colón, Plaza de Mayo, Obelisco, San Telmo, Puerto Madero, Palermo, and a fun evening visit to the adorable zone of Caminito for eating, shopping, & watching Tango. Panaramic Tigre boat tour: Trip on the coastline train, visit to San Isidro Station, San Fernando, and then Tigre - a boat ride on the Delta of the Paraná river. Fiesta Gaucha: A fabulous excursion to a working hacienda to experience life on the Pampas with a traditional Gaucho barbecue & entertainment. Tango dinner/ show: A beautiful evening out at the most famous and historic "Viejo Almacén" Tanguería for an elegant dinner and a spectacular Tango show |
 | Mendoza Wine Country
DAY 5-7: Mendoza Wine Country:
Fly from Buenos Aires to Mendoza. Visit two wineries for a tour and wine tasting. Sample some of Mendoza Valley's most famous "Malbec" wine (& even buy some if you'd like). Full day excursion "Alta Montaña" excursion through the Andes. Enjoy an incredibly picturesque drive through the highest mountains in the Americas. Travel through vineyards and several quaint mountain towns. See the majestic Aconcagua mountain next to the Chilean border - a whopping 22,841 ft! |
Iguazu Falls
DAY 8-10: Iguazú Falls:
Fly from Mendoza to Iguazú. Visit to the gorgeous Parque Nacional Iguazú for various activities and excursions. A short train ride and walk over the wooden walkways will take you to the very edge of "Devil's Throat" where you will see torrents of water cascading down Iguazú falls. The 275 spectacular and breathtaking falls plunge over a precipice more that a mile and a half wide with an average drop of 300 ft. to the Iguazú river below. Also, take a little ride through the jungle and a boat trip into the falls.
Day 11: Return to Buenos Aires:
Final evening to explore the city and enjoy a fabulous group meal.
Day 12: Return flight to U.S.
