Virtual INTRO Spanish Starts Wed August 20th

ADULT INTRO SPANISH: Read all details carefully before proceeding

Important details about our classes:
  • Our classes run in 4-week progressive cycles, as each class is part of an ongoing series and not meant to be taken as a standalone month.
  • The cost is $99 per 4-week cycle. For your benefit, you should plan on a long-term commitment, as the first four weeks are just the tip of the iceberg. Classes continue as long as we have a minimum of 12 participants, and they can last anywhere from several months to several years, depending on the group.
  • For our intro classes, no prior Spanish experience is necessary. These interactive sessions include engaging and supportive teacher-guided activities, focusing equally on comprehension, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar.
  • Each progressive cycle will meet on the same days and times. At the end of every 4-week period, you will simply be reminded to continue your payment. You will not need to register again, as your spot is secured.

This is a virtual class (via Zoom) instructed by the amazing Profesora Dani Twichel.
  • Please be sure to read the section at the end about the effectiveness of our Zoom classes. They offer a flexible and dynamic learning experience that is just as effective as our in-person classes, with added convenience for busy schedules.
Subsequent class schedules are provided at the end of each 4-week series and will always be listed at the bottom of the detailed class itinerary for each series.
When class starts,  you will be provided digital  lesson documents link that will contain the physical lessons you will receive in class.  In addition to the lesson documents, it will also hold any audio and video lessons we may include to accompany the lessons. Along with the class, too, you will be provided a  FREE private Quizlet class portal page with specifically tailored online practice activities that correspond with the class lessons.
*Do not underestimate the value of our virtual classes. They offer an ideal blend of flexibility and structure, making them a perfect fit for busy adults who need the freedom to learn on their own schedule and from any location. These classes are thoughtfully designed to provide an interactive and engaging experience, complete with real-time feedback, meaningful participation, and a strong sense of community.
What truly sets our virtual program apart is the comprehensive support system: you will receive a private YouTube playlist with class recordings, regular and detailed class updates, and direct communication with your instructor. All materials are housed in a shared Google Drive folder that includes lesson documents, audio files, and more. Plus, you will have access to a private Quizlet class portal filled with custom-designed practice activities that reinforce each lesson.

CLASS INFO AND PAYMENT PROTOCOL: **Our classes are structured in four-week progressive cycles to ease financial strain on your long journey of learning Spanish. While we do not automatically charge for continuing cycles, we ask that you view this as a membership program, committing to timely payments even if you miss some classes or an entire series. Since our classes are composed of busy adults, missing a session is common. To keep you on track, we provide thorough class updates, digital lessons, videos, and online practices.
We also schedule regular review sessions, knowing that life events may place your studies on the backburner. It is normal to feel behind at times, but this feeling is shared by most and never fully disappears. Patience is key. Restarting from the beginning is not ideal, as we continuously review and reinforce fundamentals.
Repeating the intro phase also impacts our ability to keep classes running, as it lowers enrollment in current courses and takes a spot a new student could fill. Our program depends on consistent participation, and continuing with your class supports both your progress and the sustainability of the course.
Profe Dani and I are committed to making this a positive learning experience and helping you reach your Spanish goals. We deeply appreciate your support.
Muchísimas gracias,
Profe Deborah y Profe Dani
